The Center for Workforce Development is going to let luck be a lady on Saturday October 3rd for their Casino Night, from 7:00 PM to 11:00, at the Vienna Moose Lodge, 9616 Courthouse Rd, Vienna, VA, 22180. This event is being presented by CWD's Board of Directors, staff and volunteers. Your ticket includes $200 in play money, door prizes, Comedian, Mark Matusof, and a Vegas Lounge Act! Additionally there will be a Texas Hold 'em Tournament and a Black Jack Tournament with grand prizes of vacations, weekend getaways, and a home entertainment system.
The Center for Workforce Development was formally established in March of 2007. Our mission is to work to improve the lives of our participants and their families by providing livable wages, and opportunities for life long learning, while always being of service to our community. The mission is accomplished by creating employment opportunities through high growth training and a social enterprise within low and very low income communities.

The Center for Workforce Development's Board of Directors, staff and volunteers, will be hosting a wine tasting and silent auction. This event will be taking place on April 4th, 2009, at the Holiday Inn Dulles, 45425 Holiday Drive, Sterling Virginia., from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. This event will also be a time to unveil our workforce program to community members, donors and potential donors.
